Casting real sisters from across the US to be photographed by photographer Brianna Capozzi. The intimate portraits will be featured as part of her upcoming photography book and exhibition, titled SISTERS.

CONCEPT
"The idea behind this project is to create beautiful images that capture the uncontrived essence of the relationship between sisters. Focusing in on the unembarrassed and genuine sentiment that comes with spending so much time with each other. Something that to me feels like women's secret power and is one of the biggest joys and necessities of my life. I want it to be raw and real, happy, sad, loving, tension, and positively strong. For this project I am looking for women who are comfortable being nude to semi nude around each other and in photographs. That said I can work with each person on how they feel about this and in what way they are comfortable being portrayed. When using clothing,I have been using simple clothing - tanks, underwear, or bed sheets to cover up anyone who wants to be. The most important thing to me is to create a safe space for us to make beautiful work free from judgement or pressures."
ARTIST BIO
Brianna Capozzi is a fashion & art photographer based in New York. Her work has appeared in titles such as W, British Vogue, AnOther Magazine, POP, Dazed & Confused, Purple, i-D and Re-Edition and she has shot for brands including Bally, Adidas and Alexander Wang. She has photographed Selena Gomez, Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Cara Delevinge, amongst others. She recently published a book with Idea Books called ‘Well Behaved Women’ featuring eight women she cites as her muses, including Chloe Sevigny, Hanne Gaby Odiele and her mother Marie Capozzi.
